After 15 years together, filmmakers Ale and Alex are breaking up. Determined to have a harmonious breakup, they come up with the idea to throw a breakup party like a wedding, just the other way around. As they justify their decision to friends and family who expected them to live happily ever after, complications with the plan arise as they realise breaking up in the real world isn't always as easy as it seems on screen.
Written in partnership with lead actors Itsaso Arana and Vito Sanz, Trueba's latest meta-comedy offers a stylish modern twist on the romantic comedy which features a touching cameo from the director's father Fernando Trueba.
