Ways to save

Please note, prices and offers detailed on this page apply largely to new ticket prices that will come into effect from Friday 10th January 2025.

If you’re senior (60+), a Disabled person, unwaged, a student, a Leeds Card holder or an NHS/Blue Light Card holder, you’re entitled to discounted £8.50 concession for all regular priced screenings.

Concession Saver • Mondays & Tuesdays 

All day Monday and Tuesday, those eligible for concession price tickets pay even less, with our £6.50 Concession Saver ticket. 

Tickets on weekday mornings and afternoons (before 4.30pm) cost just £6.50 for all adults, and £4 for children. 

Membership discounts also apply during these screenings, so 70mm Members pay just £5, and 35mm Members pay just £5.50.  

The majority of our family-friendly Hyde & Seek screenings, dementia-friendly Memory Matinees, and artists' moving image Pavilion Presents screenings are Pay What You Can.

Pay What You Can screenings allow audiences to choose the amount they pay, according to how much they're able to afford. 

Online you can book tickets priced £2.50 and upwards, but if you require free tickets, please email (info@hpph.co.uk) or phone our box office (0113 275 2045) no later than 48hrs before the screening and our friendly team will be happy to help.

Free tickets will be capped at five per customer, and are not available at the cinema on the day of the screening.

One of the best ways to save money on tickets is by becoming a HPPH Member.  

If you’re aged 15-25, you can become a 15-25 Member for free! Our 15-25 membership gives you access to £6 tickets on all screenings and – if you opt-in to emails – you’ll receive additional ticket offers, special invites and priority booking. You can sign-up here.

There is also a Leeds Heritage Theatres membership scheme which, as well as providing benefits for those attending City Varieties and Leeds Grand Theatre, also includes some select offers for HPPH. Details here. 

Interested in bringing a large group along to the cinema? Maybe you're part of a society and keen to arrange a social at HPPH, or want to bring a group of friends to the cinema for your birthday?

Cinema Africa! group bookings

If you’re coming to one of our Cinema Africa! screenings, you can save money by booking as a group. Tickets are 4 for the price of 3, or 14 for the price of 10. The discount will be applied automatically during the usual checkout process. 

Our Hyde & Seek family-friendly screenings are mostly Pay What You Can, with ticket options starting at £0. See the Pay What You Can section for more details.

Our weekly toddler-friendly screenings cost just £3 per ticket. 

Child tickets cost £6 (evenings and weekends) or £4 (weekday matinees, before 4.30pm). 

If you have a baby, we have weekly Bring Your Own Baby screenings on Wednesdays at 11:00, which cost just £6.50 and include a free hot drink. 

We are part of the CEA Card Scheme, which means you can book a free ticket for a companion at the box office, over the phone and on our website. Details of the scheme and how to apply can be found at ceacard.co.uk.

To book this free companion ticket online, update your HPPH account details (in 'Other Preferences') and select ‘I have a CEA card’. Then once you buy two or more tickets, one will be free – but you must ensure at least one of the tickets you buy is a Disabled price ticket. 

Following these steps will also allow you to book a dedicated companion seat, located directly next to wheelchair spaces in both Screen One and Screen Two. Again, you must purchase both the companion seat and wheelchair space together, for one of the tickets to be made free. 

We are a Max Card partner, meaning children in foster care and children with additional needs can access discounted cinema tickets. If you are eligible, register for a card online and bring it along with you to the cinema to get tickets for £6. For more information about Max Card, visit their website. 

We're proud to be a partnering with online steaming platform, and film distributor MUBI, as a MUBI GO participating venue. 

For anyone subscribed to MUBI GO, you are able to see a film of MUBI's choosing for free, every week, in a MUBI GO venue. 

Not every film MUBI GO selection will play at the Picture House but most do. To obtain a free ticket, you need to download the MUBI GO app and then pick up your free ticket from our box office. 

Tickets can only be issued on the day of the screening and in-person – but feel free to pop to HPPH earlier in the day when we're open to secure yourself a seat.

We know that traditionally, especially at multiplexes, the steep cost of food and drink at cinemas presents a barrier to many visitors. Therefore, we keep our prices as low as possible and have popcorn cones for just £1. 

Another way to save on food and drink is by becoming a member. 35mm members get 10% off select food and drink and 70mm members get 15% off select food and drink. 

We regularly email audiences with special offers and discounts on specific films and events. You can sign-up for emails via the form at the footer of our website.
