Will there be any standalone Hyde Park Film School events other than the full-day courses?
Yes! Keep an eye out for additional Hyde Park Film School standalone talks, presentations and events we will be hosting as well as the day courses which will happen every couple of months.
What happens if the ‘In a Day’ events sell out? Will there be more?
We will do our best to hold second day courses if there is high demand. However, we recommend buying your tickets early as there is limited capacity in Screen 2 where these events take place.
Do I need to have studied film to attend and understand these events?
No, every course and activity is made to be entry level. Equally, if you already know about the subject and want to learn more – you’re welcome too. Hyde Park Film School events should have something for everyone and leave all attendees with new ideas thanks to the interesting speakers and the topics they explore.
Do I get a certificate or accreditation after a course?
This isn’t an academic course - it’s a fun way of learning more about cinema. However, every attendee of the ‘In a Day’ events will receive a special token related to the subject to keep.
Can I attend more than one course?
Of course! Each day will be on a different aspect of cinema so you're welcome to attend as many of the courses as you like. Hopefully, you'll find there's lots to learn on each course.
