Featuring Winona Ryder in the central role as strong willed Jo as she struggles to balance a sense of purpose and independence against an the all consuming love and appreciation for her family.
The clashes and tensions that follow with her beloved mother and sisters Meg, Amy and Beth are the textures that make Alcott's story feel so relatable all these years after it was first published.
This event is taking place at Hyde Park Picture House, as part of our season The Stories We Tell, presented by Leeds Heritage Theatres.
