This new season of documentaries celebrates a range of stories from around the world of people doing just that, working together to support, love and uplift one another. Communities represented and celebrated in this season include a family of women in the Sidama coffee hills in Ethiopia; The "Bangladeshi Bad Boys" motorcycle gang in East London; Ola and his friends in the small Norwegian village of Vidaråsen; An ageing shepherd and a teenage boy in the Pyrenees and a neighbourhood responding to a dawn raid in Pollokshields, Glasgow.  

Documentary is also a method of community-making, and by watching collectively in a cinema space we absorb stories both relatable and unfamiliar in the cozy comfort of the Picture House. Join us for a series of beautiful films, accompanied by director talks and Q&As.
