The Leeds Cinema Crawl returns for its second edition, this year on the theme of sophomore films – directors' superior second features – taking audiences on an truly unique cinematic journey across Leeds.
Beginning at Cottage Road Cinema, before heading to the Hyde Park Picture House, Archive (with Scalarama Leeds) and ending at The Howard Assembly Room – join us on Sun 28 Sep, as we celebrate four films which made everyone fall in love with their four directors. With fun and games along the way, and great value day-passes available – we can't wait for another unforgettable day of film!

Timetable

To help you plan your day, below are full times for the crawl. 

As you can see there's plenty of time between screenings for you make your way to each venue and grab some food etc.

  • 11:00 - 13:00: Shaun of the Dead  at Cottage Road.
  • 14:00 - 15:50: Gregory's Girl at HPPH.
  • 17:00 - 19:05: The Terminator at Archive.
  • 21:00 - 23:00: Whiplash at The Howard Assembly Room. 

Each of the films will start between 15-20min after their advertised times – with doors opening 30min before for any early arrivals. 

All-day passes

We have a limited number of all-day passes, which grant you access to all four films throughout the day. 

These can be purchased via the links further up this page, with two prices:

  • Full-price: £25
  • Concession-price: £20 *

* Student, senior, disabled, unwaged, Leeds Card holder, Blue Card holder, HPPH members

Individual film tickets

You can also purchase tickets for specific films. These are available from each venue's respective websites, with prices varying and dependent on what price the venue usually charges. 

Seating

There will be unallocated seating at all four screenings, allowing you to sit wherever you like when you arrive. For the best choice of seats we recommend arriving ahead of time. Doors for each screening will open at least 30min before the film begins.  

Food & drink

All four venues offer a selection of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks and treats. 

Archive will serving a special menu including loaded fries (more details to come!). 

You are not permitted to bring in any alcohol or hot food from outside the venues into any of the screenings.

Access

The Hyde Park Picture House, Archive and The Howard Assembly Room are fully accessible, with step-free access to each of the screens and accessible wheelchair-friendly toilets. 

Unfortunately due to their age and layout of their building, Cottage Road Cinema isn't wheelchair accessible and they do not have an accessible toilet.
