Juggling her life as a mother and her busy work schedule, Floria always has an open ear for her daughter and her patients even in the most stressful of situations. But in the harsh daily reality of the often unpredictable situation on the chronically understaffed ward, things can look a little different.

The film follows Floria on one of her late shifts, from medication administration to intimate conversations and difficult decisions, with an avalanche of emergencies throughout and no room for error. That is, until a single mistake threatens to derail her shift with grave consequences.

Late Shift had its world premiere earlier this year as part of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.
