Why watch?
“Corpse Bride is a quintessential Burton creation, steeped in gothic charm, meticulous craftsmanship, and a deliciously dark sense of humour that remains surprisingly accessible to audiences of all ages. Two decades on, the film still dazzles visually and feels remarkably fresh compared to many of its CGI contemporaries, a true testament to the artistry of its animation and the strength of its storytelling.”

Hyde Park Pick: Corpse Bride
A young man mistakenly weds a corpse while on a two-day trek to the village of his real bride-to-be. It is up to the groom's flesh-and-blood fiancée, who has been pining for the arrival of her intended, to face her wraith-like rival and make peace with her by promising to live her dreams for her and by vowing to remember her always. Only then are the living bride and groom free to proceed with their own wedding ceremony in this warmhearted fable.

Join us before the film on Saturday from 10:30am, for a drop-in, self-led activity.
Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings at 11:00 in Screen Two are Autism friendly. These relaxed screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences and anyone who finds standard screenings challenging. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
