Why watch?
“An excellent choice from HEART! The Wonder is based on a book by Emma Donoghue, one of my favourite authors who wrote the completely absorbing Room, which I read faster than any other book because I NEEDED to know what happened. This story is similarly gripping, unusual and intriguing. The film upholds its distinct eerie atmosphere and arresting mystery throughout, with a notably compelling performance from Florence Pugh who arrives in an Irish village determined to uncover the truth behind a young girl surviving on no food but faith.”
