Frida lives in Coyoacán, Mexico with her beloved dog Chiquita. When faced with difficulties, she responds to them the only way she knows how: with overflowing imagination and creativity. Covering her early years after contracting childhood polio, Hola Frida! paints a vibrant picture of the tenacious little girl who would grow up to be one of the world’s most famous artists.

Get creative before our screening at 10:00 on Sunday by colouring in your own Frida - a fun, hands-on warm-up inspired by the world of Hola Frida! 

Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings at 11:00 in Screen Two are Autism friendly. These relaxed screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences and anyone who finds standard screenings challenging. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.

LYFF are taking over the cinema and turning the big screen into family time, with special guest stars; stunt man Nathan Geering and professional dancer Holly Gibson, free designable tote bag for any children with film tickets (upto the age of 15) and more - all included with the price of your ticket.
