Purportedly the first feature film made about Palestinian lives by a Palestinian filmmaker, Wedding in Galilee was a critical success which went on to win the FIPRESCI Prize at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival.
After-film discussion we will be joined by Fred Coker, founder member of the Workers’ Film Association in 1974, who has carefully kept the original reels of the film.
