The Very Hungry Caterpillar (7min)

Here is Eric Carle's marvellous picture-book brought to life through the magic of animation. Over the course of a week The Very Hungry Caterpillar eats his way through increasing quantities of food before becoming quite ill and then something magical happens.

Papa, Please Get The Moon For Me (8min)

Monica asks her Father if she can hold the moon and he tries to grant her wish, but Papa discovers that the moon is very, very big.

The Very Quiet Cricket (8min)

The Very Quiet Cricket wants to say 'Hello' but he can't - not until he meets another cricket anyway and finally finds his voice.

To accompany the screening, our Young Audiences Officer, will be providing fun and interactive toddler activities for our smallest audience members.

This special screening is to celebrate our new partnership with Cawston Press, who are supporting our ‘Hyde & Seek’ screenings, which includes our Toddler-Friendly screenings on Fridays. Cawston Press is made by people who love creating delicious drinks that you can feel good about drinking. Their journey of pressing fruit began 40 years ago with the humble apple and has grown from there. They’ve got something for every occasion and every type of customer – whether you’re after Fruit Waters for kids' lunch time meals, or Sparkling Juice Drinks for that 3pm pick me up – all made with pressed fruit juice and no added sugar, sweeteners or fruit juice concentrate

They’ve teamed up with their friends at Eric Carle to create the perfect drink for little ones – a light blend of 50% pressed apples and water, just the right sweetness for growing taste buds which you’ll find exclusively at our screening on (insert date).

Tickets for our Toddler Screenings are required for all adults and children, and adults can only attend if accompanying a child.

This event is part of our Explore Festival across Leeds Heritage Theatres. Join us for a  playful programme of film, performance and hands-on activities this April. More details coming soon!
