Why watch?
“Tuesday is a sincere debut, with standout performances from all three female leads, who confidently handle the raw emotions in this debut feature. The grim reality of its protagonists' circumstance is injected with moments of (dark) humour. The soundtrack is strangely uplifiting with Ice Cube's - It Was a Good Day becoming a motif of the film. I'd recommend giving this film a chance if you are a fan of The Lost Daughter, and Three Thousand Years of Longing.”

An ambitious first feature from Daina Oniunas-Pusic.
Single mother Zora, (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her terminally ill fifteen year old daughter Tuesday, (Lola Petticrew) must confront Death when it arrives in the form of an astonishing talking macaw bird (voiced by Arinzé Kene).
This striking and emotional story encompasses death, grief, illness & ultimately acceptance.
Details
“Grief is not something that can be processed through the lens of reality, and it makes sense that Pusić pulls from a range of surreal sources to tell this story.”
Lilian Crawford
“Weird, wrenching and wildly ambitious, the UK-set debut film from Croatian writer-director Daina O Pusić is an achingly sad oddity.”
The Guardian
“At times uncomfortably dark and morbidly surreal, and at others whimsical and hopeful, Tuesday is a work of art in the truest sense of the term.”
