The Muppet Christmas Carol

Why watch?
“The ultimate adaptation of A Christmas Carol. I hope Dickens was visited by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come so that he could see this genius interpretation of his story which is full of wit, heart and excellent songs. I come back to this film each year for a reliable dose of warm fuzziness.”

A space to play
One Christmas Eve, miserly Scrooge reluctantly gives Bob Cratchit Christmas Day off, unpaid. That night, three spirits visit him. The first takes him back to his youth when he lost the beautiful Belle; the second shows him the penurious Cratchits in the present; the third shows a possible future - him dead and unlamented and the Cratchits mourning the loss of Tiny Tim.
The classic Dickens tale is reimagined, packed with songs and humour, with the unique puppetry of everyone’s favourite Muppets.
If you'd like to join us for a craft session before the Saturday screening, come along at 10:30am to make mini festive wreaths.
Tickets for all Hyde & Seek screenings are Pay What You Can. To learn more about what this means, head to FAQ section of the Hyde & Seek page.
Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings in Screen Two are relaxed. These are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences, but everyone is welcome to attend. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
