We've come to it at last... the great film-marathon of our time...

Join us this Easter Monday, as we join Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn and the Fellowship on their legendary adventure – from the rolling hills of the Shire, to the fires of Mount Doom.

25 years after Peter Jackson first wowed audiences with his award-winning film adaptations, we are thrilled to return to Tolkien's Middle-Earth – a world that remains just as rich, authentic and awe-inspiring today as it did a quarter of a century ago, thanks to incredible craftsmanship, stunning New Zealand's stunning landscapes and groundbreaking special effects. 

As well as screening all three films (remastered 4K extended-editions), those joining us on this legendary adventure can also enjoy a special live musical performance from The Fangorn Folk Collective, as well as fun and games between the films. 

HPPH members can now enjoy priority access to tickets, before they go on general sale from Fri 23 Jan.

This marathon is more than us simply walking into Mordor. As well as screening the films you all love, there will also be live music from The Fangorn Folk Collective. From 10:30am, they'll be treating us to specially arranged music from the films featuring guitar, fiddle, harp, whistle and vocals – so please arrive early so you don't miss out!

What about second breakfast? There will be breaks in between the films, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy some some luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper etc. You're are fine to bring drinks and snacks into the cinema with you – but hot food and alcohol is not permitted, and we ask audiences not to bring any nuts or shellfish. Please be mindful of fellow audiences and don't bring anything smelly or that will cause lots of noise/rustling. Food and drink will be available to buy from the cinema throughout the day – including slices of cake, sausage rolls, scotch eggs – with plenty of vegan options.

You need people of intelligence on this sort of mission... quest... thing. Film marathons can be such a wonderful collective experience – especially when we are all going on such an epic journey together. But to ensure everyone can fully immerse themselves in Middle-earth, we'll ask everyone to be extra considerate to one another throughout the day. This means avoiding any loud talking, noisy food and not being on your phone. If you need to do any of these, you're very welcome to pop out of the screen at any time.
