Sinners

Indirectly taking inspiration from the legend of Mississippi bluesman Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil at a remote crossroads in return for fame and fortune, from Ryan Coogler - director of Black Panther, Creed and the remarkable Fruitvale Station comes a new vision of fear: Sinners.
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
“You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”
Coogler's latest film continues to push genre filmmaking to interesting and thoughtful new places, aided by an Oscar-tipped dual performance from Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station) who continues to be one of the most exciting performers of his generation, matched with an incredible soundtrack.

“An ambitious film which links the past and present with music and blood.”
Kambole Campbell, Little White Lies
“There’s some From Dusk Till Dawn and The Thing tossed in here, while Coogler’s phenomenal supporting cast embrace the genre in a way that’s knowing but never schlocky.”
Clarisse Loughrey, Independent
“(Sinners) looks phenomenal: shot on 70mm film, the frame throbs with sultry, come-hither reds and golds. The soundtrack is hot-headed and dangerous.”
Wendy Ide, The Guardian
