Why watch?
“A truly one-off Parisian visual treat! If you paused on any moment of this beautifully hand-drawn animation, you would be gifted with a stand-alone work of art. This vibrant animation is simple yet dynamic, as the imagery dances in front of your eyes.”

Hyde Park Pick: Chicken for Linda!

Greetings From Mars

Linda and her mother's relationship hasn't quite been the same since her father passed away. After another squabble, her mother Paulette tries to make it up to Linda by promising to cook her favourite meal - chicken with peppers, just like her dad used to make. But with a general strike closing shops across Paris, finding ingredients for this simple dinner quickly leads to a hilarious series of events that spirals out of control, as Paulette does everything she can to keep her promise and find a chicken for Linda.
Please Note: This screening is French language with English subtitles.

Programmed in collaboration with Leeds Young Film Festival, an annual family-friendly celebration of cinema which includes screenings, workshops, VR and hands-on filmmaking activities to inspire young creative talent.

Join us from 10.30am before our Saturday screening for a self-led, drop-in activity.
Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings at 11:00 in Screen Two are Autism friendly. These relaxed screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences and anyone who finds standard screenings challenging. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
