This A3 print features an enlarged paint sample fragment, taken from one of the cinema's external windowsills, as part of an historic paint survey carried out in 2019 by specialists Crick-Smith. Each layer is a different coat of paint throughout cinema's 105 year history, and was used to inform the colour scheme chosen as part of the cinema's recent development.
