Young Frankenstein
12A
Constantly having to live down his family reputation, the American grandson of the infamous scientist, inherits his grandfather's castle, where he discovers a book full of Frankenstein's experiments and begins working on the process of human reanimation, and fulfilling his destiny.
Gene Wilder and Marty Feldman (alongside the rest of the cast, including the wise-cracking Madeline Kahn and a cameo from Gene Hackman as the blind hermit) are perfectly brilliant in this loving and detailed pastiche of the classic Boris Karloff version of Frankenstein, even to the point of reusing the wonderful original laboratory sets from that film.
Young Frankenstein is so stuffed full of perfect gags and glorious set-pieces you'll have a James Whale of a time!
