Set to take place on Thursday 25th September 2025 at the iconic Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds, the second Leeds Trauma-Informed Film Festival will be a vibrant celebration of creativity, storytelling, and community.
This year’s theme, "A Celebration of Joy and Post-Traumatic Growth Through Film", will showcase uplifting and transformative stories from services in Leeds—and beyond—that support individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use issues, and other adversities.
The festival will shine a spotlight on the extraordinary work of local services and the inspiring journeys of their service users. Through the powerful medium of film, we will explore the resilience of the human spirit, the strength of our communities, and the moments of joy that can emerge after trauma.
