Thelma Post isn’t your average 93-year-old grandmother – she’s tenacious, determined and on a mission. After getting conned by a scammer pretending to be her grandson, she teams up with a friend (and his motorised scooter) on a wild adventure to take back what’s hers.
Inspired by a real-life experience of director Josh Margolin’s own grandmother, this action-comedy stars Oscar nominee June Squibb (Nebraska) in her first leading role, alongside the final performance of trailblazing Blaxploitation actor Richard Roundtree (Shaft).

“How often does a film come along that you can comfortably recommend to literally everyone in your life? Not often enough. For that reason alone, Thelma deserves to be celebrated.”
