Frah Nabulsi's short film The Present was welcomed with critical acclaim upon it's release in 2021 including winning Best British Short Film at that year's BAFTAs. Her feature debut marks an ambitious and strikingly authentic next step, grounded by a deeply compelling central performance by Saleh Bakri (The Blue Caftan, Wajib) in the titular role.
