The Phantom Menace
PG
The Phantom Menace, Episode I of the Star Wars saga and the first film in the prequel trilogy, originally arrived in cinemas on May 19, 1999, following tremendous hype. Written and directed by George Lucas, it introduced the world to young Anakin Skywalker, Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Padmé Amidala, and the evil Sith duo, Darth Sidious and Darth Maul.
The Phantom Menace would be a landmark in the development of visual effects and become one of the highest grossing movies of all time.
All weekend Hyde & Seek Screenings are Pay What You Can including £0.
Join us at our Saturday screening from 10.30am for a drop-in, self-led activity creating your very own 'Pinwheel Galaxy' pinwheel. The Pinwheel Galaxy is a spiral-shaped galaxy about 21 million light years away from Earth. Scientist call this swirling galaxy M101. You can find it in the constellation Ursa Major, or the 'Big Dipper' in the Northern Hermisphere. With a nice, dark sky, you can see it with binoculars or a small telescope.

Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings in Screen Two are relaxed. These screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences, but everyone is welcome to attend. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
