After raising money by nefarious means, a group of small-town college students (Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine) head for the Florida coast for an unforgettable fortnight of sun, sea, and non-stop parties.

But after being taken under the wing of Alien (James Franco), a two-bit rapper, hustler, dealer, and avid Britney Spears fan, the vice-heavy trip quickly turns sour as the gang realise that their lies – and spring break – can’t last forever.

Think Channel 4’s Skins or Saltburn, but Americana – with some machine guns thrown in for good measure.

Featuring a soundtrack that will make any millennial nostalgic, from director Harmony Korine (Gummo, The Beach Bum, and the upcoming sequel to Spring Breakers).
