While often remembered purely for Gene Kelly’s famous dance number to the titular song, the film boasts an all-star cast and comes brimming with incredible performances; O’Connor’s slapstick self-deprecation in Make ‘em Laugh being another highlight, as is Good Mornin’, where Debbie Reynolds, only 20 at the time, does an incredible job matching pace with two veteran dancers, Kelly and O’Connor.
