One of the most important artists of our era, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s career spans from techno-pop stardom to Oscar-winning composer and anti-nuclear activist. This intimate portrait explores Sakamoto’s return to music following a cancer diagnosis, leading to the creation of a haunting new masterpiece.
Presented by Brudenell Piano Sessions, this special screening in tribute to the composer will be preceded by a short introduction from Simeon Walker. The screening will then be followed by the Brudenell Piano Sessions All-Dayer, starting at 3pm at the Brudenell Social Club.
