Paris 75
12A
As much about the history and heritage of football from a bygone age as it is about one pivotal match, Paris 75, features rare and never-seen-before footage captured by supporters who followed Leeds across Europe that season alongside exclusive home video from Leeds United legend Paul Reaney.
It's the story of female football supporting pioneers and early foreign travel, a film about football in the Seventies, with appeal to Leeds United fans and neutrals alike. It is a film for the fans, told by the fans who were there - Roy, Carole, Rich, Margaret and Heidi, and Leeds United and England legends, Paul Reaney and Allan Clarke.
At a time when supporters have never felt so alienated and distanced from today’s supercar-driving, noise-cancelling players of today and the anonymous corporates who own their club, Paris 75 is a timely reminder of what football used to be - the good and the bad.
We’re really pleased that for this special screening we will be joined by Director Harvey Marcus and the fans featured in the film for a very special Q&A.
