After losing his job in a call centre for being rude to customers, and assaulting his line manager with a fire extinguisher, luckless Fahad turns his amateur delivery work into a full-time job; driving around Riyadh at night making dropoffs to rich people in luxury penthouses. Fahad soon sees an opportunity to make some easy money, stealing illegal alcohol, then attempting to sell it on to the decadent party crowd, but unaware of the repercussions of his actions.

Director Ali Kalthami presents us with an atmospheric, almost entirely nighttime-set glimpse of Riyadh in transition, a capital city that is rapidly modernising but still stratified with layers of inequality. Mandoob (Night Courier) is a darkly comedic thriller capturing an impressive portrait of bad luck and poor decision-making in a city rarely seen.
