Kensuke's Kingdom
PG
Kensuke’s Kingdom tells the epic adventure of Michael, a young boy who sets off with his family on a sailing trip of a lifetime. But excitement soon turns to terror when a violent storm erupts and Michael and his dog Stella are swept overboard, washing up on a remote island where they struggle to survive.
Michael eventually discovers he's not alone when confronted by a mysterious Japanese man called Kensuke (voiced by Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe – The Last Samurai, Letters from Iwo Jima) who has lived there secretly since World War Two. The boy and the old man are initially suspicious of each other, but when dangerous invaders appear on the horizon, it’s clear Michael and Kensuke must join forces to save their fragile island paradise.

PLEASE NOTE There is no Hyde & Seek screening on Saturday, as the cinema is closed for a wedding.
All weekend Hyde & Seek Screenings are Pay What You Can including £0.
Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings at 11:00 in Screen Two are Autism friendly. These relaxed screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences and anyone who finds standard screenings challenging. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise and moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
