Why watch?
“After recently re-watching Coraline I can confidently say that it is one of the best stop motion movies to ever be made with amazing narrative, visuals and enigma codes consistently throughout the film adding to the unsettling nature of the film.”

Coraline revisited
Coraline Jones is a girl of 11 who is feisty and adventurous beyond her years. With her parents wrapped up in work, she takes off to explore her new home and secret door to seemingly nowhere may lead to more than it seems.
On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life–only much better. But when this wondrously off–kilter, fantastical adventure turns dangerous and her counterfeit parents try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to save her family and get back home.
Combining the visionary imaginations of celebrated author Neil Gaiman (Sandman) and groundbreaking film studio LAIKA (Kubo and the Two Strings, ParaNorman, the upcoming Wildwood).
This screening is Pay What You Can, with a suggested ticket price of £5.

On Halloween (Thursday 31st October) we have a very special BONUS screening with an extra drop-in activity from 2.00pm to help us create spooky decorations for the cinema!
(Costumes are not essential BUT are very much encouraged!)
As well as our usual drop-in, self led accompanying activity for the Saturday Screening from 10.30am.
Our Sunday morning Hyde & Seek screenings at 11:00 in Screen Two are Autism friendly. These relaxed screenings are intended to provide a safe environment for neurodiverse audiences and anyone who finds standard screenings challenging. They feature prompt start times, raised lighting, reduced volume and a relaxed attitude to noise/moving around. To give audiences extra space, we reduce the capacity at these screenings, so pre-booking is advised as they often sell out.
