Starting in 1996 with CEO Mike Lazaridis and his best friend and co-founder Douglas Fregin as they prepare to pitch their "PocketLink" cellular device to businessman Jim Balsillie. The pitch goes poorly but represents the beginning of a toxic professional collaboration that will fundamentally change the way people communicate.

Capturing much of the same energy as The Social Network, BlackBerry is a whirlwind ride through the ruthlessly competitive world of Silicon Valley which requires no prior knowledge or interest in the device that captivated a generation. The well drawn characters are brought to life magnificent by leads Jay Baruchel, Matt Johnson and a particularly chilly Glenn Howerton It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
