Born out of the deepest corners of the internet, the "backrooms" a liminal spaces consisting of an endless maze, monochromatic yellow floors and walls and fluorescent lighting, has captivated online horror fans for years. 

The film will be directed by Kane Parsons, known as KanePixels on YouTube, a man made famous by his anthological series that explores the backrooms via atmosphere, first-person videos, helping to popularize the concept and has amassed over 190 million views to date.
