An exciting opportunity to work with artist & animator Vincent James to learn how to animate and create your own animation – No previous experience required! Vincent will be creating a new animated film inspired by a rich array of treasures found on site at the Picture House as part of our renovation.

Buttons, hat pins, sweet wrappers and ticket stubs... one person's trash is our treasure. Join us as we imagine the history of these every day things that have been hidden in the Picture House for a hundred years.

Please ensure you book onto the workshop which is age appropriate for the young participant:

Thursday 31st August:

10.00am - 12.00pm (Aged 7-11)

1.00pm – 3.00pm (Aged 11-14)

Friday 1st September:

10.00am – 12.00pm (Aged 11-14)

1.00pm – 3.00pm (Aged 7-11)

The workshop is designed for young participants to attend independently. Therefore, upon booking the workshop, you will be automatically sent a consent form which must be completed prior to the workshop by the young participant's parent or guardian.

Confirmation of your booking will be dependent on the completion of the consent form. This Information is used to enable participants to engage safely and for staff to contact parents/carers as required.
