Based on the 1974 book by Washington Post reporters Woodward & Bernstein, Robert Redford & Dustin Hoffman, playing the two journalists, investigate political intrigue, anonymous sources, covert operations and cover ups in a political thriller about the Watergate scandal that brought down president Richard Nixon.
Redford read Woodward & Bernstein's Watergate stories in The Washington Post, while waiting to start filming The Way We Were, which is the second film in our double bill!

Set in the turbulent McCarthy era, Katie and Hubbell are on opposite sides of the political and social spectrum, but despite (and perhaps because of) this, they fall in love with each other. Soon though, Katie's radical thinking and Hubbell's carefree lifestyle begin to hamper their relationship.
There will be a 15 minute interval between the films.
