28 Years Later

Why watch?
“Like a lot of the best fiction work which imagines an alternate or dystopian future, whilst there are fantastical and quite frankly terrifying constituent parts (namely, the fast as heck Zombies) and you should be afraid of them, 28 Years Later is also not really about the Zombies. It’s about a set of really base themes, humanity, family, grief; themes that just cut across everything and will speak to a wide range of people in different and personal ways. Aside from that we won’t say any more about 28 Years Later except it is a good one to go into without too much information so we’d recommend skipping the reviews if you can.”
Wendy,
Head of Cinema
It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway.
When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.
